GHR Rechtsanwälte advised CEMEX in connection with the amendment of its Facilities Agreement

 

GHR Rechtsanwälte AG advised CEMEX (NYSE: CX), the global building materials company, as to Swiss law on the amendment process under its July 2017 Facilities Agreement with twenty financial institutions which successfully closed in April 2019. As part of this amendment process, CEMEX extended approximately U.S.$1.1 billion of maturities by 3 years, representing an aggregate 92% of the July 2020 and January 2021 maturities under the 2017 Facilities Agreement. 

CEMEX in-house counsels acted as legal advisors to CEMEX on Mexican (Roger Saldaña and Guillermo F. Hernandez), Spanish (Juan Pelegri) and French (Guillaume Souchon) law matters.
