GHR Rechtsanwälte advised on the purchase of Infrapark Baselland AG and the Novartis chemical park by GETEC

On November 16, 2018, leading German energy provider and energy service contracting specialist for the industry and the real estate sector GETEC Group acquired 100% of Infrapark Baselland AG, the operating company of the Clariant chemical park in Schweizerhalle, from Clariant (SIX: CLN) and all of the assets and infrastructure facilities of Novartis (SIX: NOVN) for the operation of the neighboring Novartis chemical park. The transaction was successfully completed on December 31, 2018. As a result, GETEC has assumed overall responsibility for the operation of both adjacent chemical parks, thus creating a fully integrated industrial park providing facility management, energy supply, waste disposal, and incineration services as well as energy generation for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry in Schweizerhalle, one of Switzerland's largest industrial sites.
