Gerhard Roth joined GHR Rechtsanwälte in 1994 and is a partner of the firm since 1996. He co-heads the Corporate/M&A practice and heads the firm's Tax practice.
Prior to joining GHR, Gerhard Roth was a member of the legal and tax department of Arthur Andersen in Bern and Zurich from 1992 until 1994.
Gerhard Roth focuses mainly on tax, succession planning and corporate/M&A. As head of the firm's tax practice, Gerhard Roth advises clients on matters of Swiss and international tax law, with particular emphasis on setting up domestic and cross-border corporate group structures as well as representing high net worth individuals and family offices. In the corporate/M&A area, Gerhard Roth specializes on advising SMEs in particular with respect to the succession or sales process. He also acts as the chairman of the board of several companies.
